Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using CVMatch ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service and Deliverable
CVMatch is an AI-powered CV rewriting tool. The result of the service is a digital document — a rewritten CV delivered as text and/or a downloadable DOCX file, provided directly in the user's browser. The Service uses large language models to adapt CV text for Gulf and European job markets; it does not guarantee employment outcomes.
3. Use of Credits
The Service operates on a prepaid credit model. One CV optimization consumes one credit. Credits have no expiry date. Credits are non-transferable and tied to your browser session (cookie-based account).
4. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not submit content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your original CV content. The AI-generated output is provided to you for your personal use. CVMatch retains rights to its prompts, interfaces, and underlying technology.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the AI output will be error-free, accurate, or suitable for any particular job application.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
CVMatch ("we", "us") operates the website at tailoryourcvnow.com. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.
2. Data We Collect
- CV & job description text — submitted by you during a session. Not stored after processing.
- Anonymous user ID — a random 8-character token stored in a cookie to track your credit balance. No name or email attached.
- Payment data — handled entirely by xpayment (our payment processor). We do not receive or store card numbers.
- Server logs — standard HTTP request logs (IP address, timestamp, endpoint) retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To process your CV rewrite request via the Anthropic Claude API.
- To maintain your credit balance across sessions.
- To prevent abuse and ensure service stability.
4. Third-Party Processors
Anthropic — your CV and job description text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the rewritten CV. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing.
xpayment — all payment processing is handled by xpayment (xpayment.kz). We do not receive or store card numbers. xpayment's privacy policy governs payment data.
Railway — our hosting provider. Infrastructure-level data handling is governed by Railway's privacy policy.
5. Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie (cvmatch_uid) to store your anonymous session ID. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
6. Data Retention
CV and job description content is processed in memory and discarded immediately — it is never written to disk or a database. Your anonymous user ID and credit balance are stored indefinitely until you clear your cookies or request deletion.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your anonymous account and any associated data by emailing zshanabek@gmail.com with your user ID (visible in your browser's cookies under the key cvmatch_uid).
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Refund Policy
Digital documents — general rule
CVMatch sells prepaid credits for a digital document (rewritten CV) delivered electronically in the user's browser. In accordance with applicable law, a properly rendered digital document service is generally non-refundable once the document has been delivered to the user.
When we will issue a refund
- You were charged but your credit balance was not increased due to a technical error.
- You were charged more than once for the same order.
- You request a refund within 14 days of purchase and have not used any credits from that order.
When we will not issue a refund
- Credits have been fully or partially used.
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase.
- The request is based solely on dissatisfaction with the AI-generated output quality (as AI results are subjective and vary by input).
How to request a refund
Email zshanabek@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund request" and include your xpayment payment ID (found in your payment confirmation). We will respond within 3 business days.
Processing
Approved refunds are processed through xpayment and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
